This workshop is for entrepreneurs, mentors, economic developers, investors and others who want to focus on a systematic and structured approach to early-stage technology-risky innovation and commercialization. Through a series of exercises, participants will have hands-on opportunities to learn and practice a proven methodology to bring innovation to market and assess their investor-readiness. The workshop introduces the tools of Venture Capital Tools, developed by former Mississippi Technology Alliance president, Dr. Randy Goldsmith, and a user account at www.venturecapitaltools.com will be provided for no charge for participants wanting access. This workshop is brought to the Gulf Coast through a project funded by a Magnolia Business Alliance contract with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
