Marine Industries Science and Technology (MIST) Cluster – The MIST Cluster is a regional group of organizations involved in the development and implementation of applied technologies for operating in, working around, and monitoring the marine and coastal environments. These organizations - large and small business, federal, state and local agencies, universities, and nonprofits – through their applied technology efforts support other related marine industries which include commercial & recreational fishing, shipbuilding, defense, aqua-mariculture, off shore oil & gas, and environmental restoration and recovery to name a few.

Mississippi Development Authority – The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is the state of Mississippi’s lead economic and development agency, with approximately 300 employees engaged in providing services to businesses, communities and workers throughout Mississippi. The agency works to recruit new business to the state and retain and expand existing Mississippi industry and business.

Mississippi Enterprise for Technology - The Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (MSET) is located at the John C. Stennis Space Center, one of the nation’s largest federal cities. Originally formed through a joint effort between the State of Mississippi, NASA, and the Mississippi institutions of higher learning, MSET is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that facilitates regional economic development by leveraging the resources of Stennis Space Center, the State, and the region to foster business opportunities among public and private entities.
