Proteus Technologies, LLC was established for the purpose of designing and developing leading edge sensors and instrumentation, particularly in the oceanographic environment. Sean Griffin, PTL’s founder, has been successfully engaged in the field for over 20 years and has a broad spectrum of knowledge in developing and fielding such systems. Mr. Griffin has particular experience in the development of geo-technical, geo-acoustic and acoustic sensors and systems such as penetrometers, shear and p-wave sources and receivers, sub-bottom profilers, in-situ conductivity sensors, pencil beam and sector scan sonars, piezometers, gamma ray densitometers and more.
